Building on a 30-year career in the hospitality industry, Tammi Runzler has focused much of the past decade on personal and professional philanthropic endeavors.
Runzler spent the first 15 years of her career specializing in group sales for Convention Hotels, primarily in the Orlando, Florida, area. Next she joined Visit Orlando and worked her way up to Senior Vice President, successfully partnering with the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center, the second largest facility of its kind in the United States.
In tandem, Runzler co-founded My Neighbor’s Children in 2010, a non-profit organization in the State of Florida, to focus on supporting and aiding children, both domestically and internationally, with the majority of effort being in Haiti and Central America. She also worked for three years with Clean the World, leading efforts to sell the ONE Project corporate social responsibility project to all organizations.
Today, Runzler merges her expertise in sales and hospitality with her passion for philanthropy in her leadership role with CSRconnections, planning and executing socially responsible events for groups across North America.
Runzler is a Certified Association Sales Professional, a certified speaker and teacher for PCMA, and has received much recognition for her promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility within multiple industries.
